This short documentary chronicles the first year of a football team made up of 12-year-olds from two rival Cleveland neighborhoods, something not done before.

The merger was the idea of longtime coaches and league coordinators who were faced with a shortage of players. Their goal: build a winning squad and build bonds that extend beyond the field.

A national day of protest against the Trump administration was marked in Cleveland by multiple rallies and a march that remained peaceful, though event organizers briefly clashed themselves over messaging.

Phyllis Harris, executive director of the LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland, talks about the history of the Pride in CLE event and how the political climate affected this year's event. Also, the video offers a look at the scale of the event, which drew thousands to downtown Cleveland.
